Buzzard numbers and distribution in the UK has increased dramatically in recent years and they are now the most common and widespread bird of prey in the UK, with the RSPB estimating up to 44,000 breeding territories held. North Wales has one of the highest densities of buzzard and they are a very common sight in the ares.
